Flour Paste Resist Technique for Fabric Design

Video of student results using the Flour past resist techinque.  She thought it would be "icky" but now that she's rinsing it she thinks it's NICE!

Photos below are from the flour paste resist workshop.

Flour Paste is dried, paint has been applied, it still needs rinsing.
Rinsing begins . . .
Drying the wet paste with the help of a hair dryer.
We had a fabulous large work room . . . this is just half of it.
More hair dryer assistance
More batter needed.
It kind of looks like cooking school.
Batter has been applied to the fabric and impressions and marks applied.
More batter applications

Creating patterns in the batter while it's wet.
Making Marks!
Brayers and Batter
Lots of chatter and giggles

Anticipation!
Two heads are better than one?
I wish I had close ups of these - they're fabulous!
Great results!
